SBS Assessment Centre

As a continuous process, assessment establishes measurable and clear outcomes for learning, provisioning a sufficient amount of learning opportunities to achieve these outcomes, implementing a systematic way of gathering, analysing and interpreting evidence to determine how well student learning matches expectations, and using the collected information to inform improvement in student learning.

  • Objectives of the Centre:
    1. To motivate and stimulate student of continuous improvement
    2. To provide quality teaching with innovative education tools
    3. To communicate specific and immediate feedback to students to help them to become self-reliant, self-directed, and self-assessing learners

    The SBS Assessment Centre will constantly evaluate the performance of the students at three levels-

    • First level assessment includes tools like Management Quiz, Management games, Group discussions, Case study competition, etc.
    • Second Level Assessment includes tools like MCQ's, Mid-term test, Aptitude test, Role play and mock interviews, Real-time case study discussion and presentation, etc.
    • Third level assessment will be the final moderation of the overall performance of the student.

    The entire exercise is done in accordance to the course outcome and also includes the rubric mechanism. Each activity of the student will be evaluated and at the end a mark sheet comprising of their score in each activity will be given to the students.
